IDEAS DEVELOPMENT

During my travels, my project and its final outcome have changed. Originally, I thought I would create a book of lino cuts which mainly focused on churches and graveyards that I had discovered across Europe. However, during my travels, I found that my sketchbook began to fill up with a variety of things. On my return I decided to include a mixture of these things that I had seen over my travels in my zine. I researched into zines, looking at other artists interpretations of them and decided this would better suit my collection of images. I went through my sketchbook and decided to keep the original drawings because I did not want to lose the colours and life they had.

I scanned in my images and then edited them in photoshop. Sometimes I cut and pasted drawings together to create better spreads for the zine, others were left barely edited.
