Recent article about whale that has washed up with a stomach full of plastic rubbish. This, like the dead albatrosses, is truly horrific. Once again it is the fact that the plastic is inside this creature and has been unknowingly consumed. The fact that it is a whale, emphasises the severeness of whats currently happening, that a creature that size can die like this.

More articles on the overall pollution of the ocean and its rising acidity due to this. To make the rubbish/garbage in my images have more of an impact, I decided to play around with scanning in rubbish to then combine with my drawings, instead of drawing it.
