Progress of positive seascape from detailed drawings, busy, colourful, full of life. Removed some of the colour forms from filling in the coral outlines, which were then transferred onto screens. Then began to build up a seaweed bed by tapping off sections of the screen at a time and printing just one form. Good to get back in the print room and experiment with colour. New way of using a screen and the screen printing process for me. Really valuable to realise and learn that screen printing is not only a way of replacing an image but can also be used as a process of learning and experimenting in image making.
