OCEAN GARBAGE PATCH BECOMES A HEADLINE WHEN HUNTING FOR MISSING PLANE

The hunt for the missing plane that has been in the news lately has brought into light, the alarming amount of rubbish a debris in the ocean, as objects thought to be bits of the aeroplane turn out to be discarded shipping equipment, human plastic trash and containers.

Here are some photographs of the rubbish I have started to bring together for the contents of my birds stomachs. Focusing on plastic bags and bottle caps (which are the most frequent swallowed by baby albatross due to the attractiveness of their bright colours).
