BILLINGSGATE BLACK&WHITE FILM

A selection of the black&white film photographs I took at Billingsgate. There is something about black&white film which is so haunting and beautiful. It seems truly fitting to capture the abundant deaths of these fish. I feel that these photographs are both expressive and mysterious and far more captivating then the digital images. They may not directly refer to my current project, but during my research into different campaigns to protect the natural world I have become more and more interested in the threat over fishing and the impact the demand for fish and seafood has on the environment.
