The ocean and rubbish screen print did not turn out exactly as I had planned. Feel I have drifted off from the importance of a campaign image and what it should hold.The Albatross image is more shocking, because the plastic is inside the animal. However, I feel that this second print is more of a pretty picture. I feel like I have gone off the path of what a campaign image really is. I am continuing with this project for the rest of the year, which means I can now fully tackle things I feel I should have done or missed and new ideas. I want to record and document far more of the birds and there savage end and also work further and develop the whale image. I have discarded the blackfish and cove side of this project and I want to work on these more, creating lino cut print posters and a concertina book.
